Where does the name 85 come from? As the name suggests, 85's are 85% of the size of the original Gargoyle Classics.

Lightweight Polycarbonate Lenses that come in three colors:

Black Ice - A dark neutral color that provides contrast and minimized color distortion. Ideal for all water sports, offshore fishing, driving, flying, and most daily outdoor activities.

Gray Silver Mirror - A mirrored neutral color that provides contrast and minimized color distortion. Highly reflective and greatly reduces the amount of light that reaches your eyes. Please note: Gargoyles has updated the "Silver Mirror" coating for their lenses. It is no longer the thick, silver mirrored effect you may be familiar with. The current version is much "lighter" in color and density.

Caribbean Blue Mirror - Highly reflective blue mirror greatly reduces the amount of light that reaches your eyes.
